Another Inspiration

Title : Stepping Forward

Staring into the evening skies
Darkness and gloom hovered in the air
Sitting alone in a cluttered room
Wondering if darkness is really here to stay

Wondering if the skies will even turn bright
If the rainbow will ever turn out at the end of the skies
Wondering if dreams can be fulfilled
Lives can ever be changed?

My friend, sometimes a stubborn mule we are
Blinded by what we think we can only see
Darkness and gloom is not here to stay
Light is only as far away as the fickle of a switch

Bed of roses life is not
Even in roses, thorns are still sharp
Sometimes it pricks and causes much pain
But if only we see the fragrance roses bring
Instead of only the wounds it will inflict?

All is in the perception
The way we see, hear the on goings of life
No storm is going to bring you down
No challenges too hard to overcome
If we put our hands in the Lord
If we trust in our Almighty God

Let Him bring you through it all
Let Him hold your withering hand
Let Him bring healing to your every pain

Step forward that’s all you need to do
Step forward not looking back
Step forward let your destiny unfolds!
