Be All you want to be

Actually wrote the poem about a month ago, but was just reminded abt this just tonight, had CG and the sermon was on "Opening heaven over our lives". Pst said when heaven is open over your life, we get dreams and visions. Praise the Lord, that sounds great isn't it? But i hope we will not just stop at having dreams and visions but turn them into reality yah, sometimes we just got to reject unbelief and limitations in our own abilities and trust Him, it is always easier to choose to sit on the fence and watch things happen then to step out of our comfort zone and actually get our hands dirty to make things happen... hmm...

Be All you want to be

Dreams are desires waiting to be fulfilled
Lives waiting to be changed
Sometimes they seem too far
Sometimes they seem too hard
Sometimes reaching out is simply just not enough

Sometimes we are afraid
To even move a single step
Afraid we’ll fall, making us a fool
Afraid of what is ahead
Afraid of what we have to see

But you can be who you want to be
Be where you want to go
If you take a step out and see

You will find all is not too hard
The sky is not too dim
The world is full of wonders
Hope is there for all who want to find it

For through Him you are strengthened
Through Him all are made possible
If only you can believe
All He has in stored
The destiny He has placed deep within your heart

So wrestle not with thoughts of defeat
With what you can achieve
You can be all you want to be
If only you believe.
